Here's one I wrote earlier!

Ode to Cheese

No matter what your state of mind
No greater joy than cheese you'll find.
Its tangy taste will tempt and tease
Do not ignore the power of cheese.

You can use it in so many dishes
And as a sauce it’s quite delicious
Creamy, fruity, mild or strong
Use it freely - you can’t go wrong

Roquefort, Camembert or Danish Blue
Add a certain zest to a hot fondue
With pasta dishes it adds élan
To grate a little Parmesan

You can dice it up to put in salads
It’s been the subject of many a ballad
It’s sometimes white and sometimes yellow
Sometimes sharp and sometimes mellow

To serve on a cracker or slice of bread
Choose Wensleydale or Leicester Red
But on your arteries it takes its toll
So do monitor your cholesterol!
